Two thumbs up for Todd at Revolution Guitar and the tip from Gearjoneser. Bought some new tubes from them on GJ's advice, great price and super nice to chat with. Paypal double charged me for shipping and I didn't catch it. Todd shot me an email shortly after letting me know what had happened and that he was refunding me the overcharge.

thanks kindly, Wattage!

here's my list:
I've bought pickups from Lew (strat Antiquity set). Great prices, prompt shipping, expert advice!

I've bought parts from John at BlackRose. Again, great prices, prompt service, and good advice.

I really appreciate the contributions both Lew and John make to the forum, so it makes good sense to deal with them, IMO.

I've gotten 2 pedals modded by John, aka "stratdeluxer" - a DS-1 and SD-1, and both came out great, and he did the work quickly - it took a week from the time I sent them till I got 'em back - California to Florida!
I'm sending him another one soon.

And Wattage helped my recording efforts with the USB card he just sent. We completed the deal in 3 days, from California to NY - not bad!

I know how hard it is for me to ship stuff, so I appreciate the way everyone here has been so prompt!

Both were excellent traders, but I'm not sure if they're on the new board anyway.
