Default roccaforte bastard review

i picked up a roccaforte bastard (boost pedal) 1 button true bypass no knobs in a plain mxr style box. it hits the front end of your amp hard i am not sure how many db of boost but it works awesome and i paid only $68.00 for it!!!!!!!!!!! works better with my marshall than my soldano . it gives you more sustain cool feedback if needed, it makes the tone a little fatter but it doesn't color your tone . really a cool pedal that you can leave on all the time .

Too bad the Banzai Fireball didn't work out for you. I found another FD II on recycler.com for $125, but didn't buy it.

I'm in a funny phase right now. I don't need ANY traditional effects. I just joined a new band that sounds like Faith No More/Rage Against the Machine. Now, I need unconventional sounds and need to play more like Tom Morello or something.
I'm actually looking at the L6 Filter, EH Synth pedal, and H&K Rotosphere! I need to hit all the wacky sounds now! I'm gonna start dabbling in tones that barely even sound like a guitar, now. It's actually fun, redesigning a pedalboard to fit that style!

They are just fabulous and I've played more since I got them than I have in years.

You aren't a big fan of rack gear are you? I have a TC Electronics G-Force and it can dial in some ridiculous sounding stuff that doesn't sound like a guitar. It is a pretty solid unit. I have been using it since '98/'99 with no problems whatsoever.
