Safe Sales - Install Some Profit into Your Sales!

We all know how tough competition can be. Sometimes stores can beat each other over the head with pricing. In order to match prices with the competition, stores often sell a popular beginner three-pickup guitar for under $200: and maybe make $30 on the sale. That's an extreme case, but it happens! So, how do you get your profit? Here's how: That $199 guitar is probably pretty well built, but in order to keep manufacturing costs down, one of the areas where budget guitar builders "cut corners" is in the electronics. Now comes the fun part. Fix a problem for your customer by selling him or her a replacement pickup for their guitar and you've almost made as much profit as you did on the guitar. Sell them all three and they have a cool, hot-rodded guitar that you've definitely made money on. In addition, you have a happy customer that's been in your store two, maybe even three times. Here's another tip: make sure you're displaying the SFX-01 Pickup Booster pedal in the accessories counter AND set up for demo on the floor with the other stomp boxes. Two locations double your chance to make the sale, while the customer is in your store getting their pickups installed.
