Originally developed for Johnny Farina of "Santo & Johnny," the pickup for Stringmaster® is wound for that distinct lap steel sound. The front-side position is wound "top going" and North polarity. The rear-side position is wound "top coming" and South polarity. When used in combination with each other the pickups will be humbucking. Both pickups have the traditional pole spacing. The magnets are protruding from the top and bottom of the flatwork for a smooth even response. Each pickup is recreated to fit in your old classic and comes with schematic and mounting screws. Hookup wire is the classic "push back" cloth braid wire.
