Credit & Terms: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required on all Custom Orders before the work is started. Balance is due upon completion of the work. UPS 3-day, 2-day and overnight services are available at an additional fee. (Custom orders are not returnable due to the distinctive specifications. Please see Guarantee listed below.)
Delivery Time for Custom Pickups: Based upon availability of materials, we make every effort to complete Custom Pickup Orders in 4 to 6 weeks. However, for unique Custom Pickup requests, the delivery time may be greater.
Rewinds & Repairs: We will call you with a quote before any work is started. Based on your verbal approval, we will begin work. A credit card number or check number (to be mailed to Seymour Duncan) will be accepted at this time as payment for the labor, materials and return freight.
Delivery Time for Rewinds and Repairs: Based upon availability of materials, we make every effort to complete Rewind & Repair Orders in less than 12 weeks. For pickups requiring additional attention, the delivery time may be greater.
Payment: The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop accepts Visa, Master Card, checks and money orders (Sorry, no COD's unless from an authorized Seymour Duncan Dealer). Charges (other than the 50% Non Refundable deposit) will not be incurred until the product is complete and ready for shipping.
EU Residents: Due to a recent EU directive, we are no longer able to ship directly to residents of the EU. Please inquire with your country's authorized distributor for Custom Orders.

Shipping-Method and Charges: Orders are sent UPS Ground service unless otherwise specified. Freight charges are based on current UPS rates. Alternative shipping methods are available and will be charged to the customer, accordingly.
Refused Shipments: Refused shipments are costly to both you and Seymour Duncan. For this reason, we have instituted the following policy regarding refused shipments: When a refused shipment is returned to the SD Custom Shop, provided it is not our error, the original shipping fees and reshipment fees will be required before reshipping. We will call you for instructions for reshipment.
Guarantee: All Seymour Duncan Custom Shop pickups are guaranteed to the original purchaser (as shown on receipt) to be free of defects in materials and workmanship. We will repair any defects which result from our construction of the pickup. Custom Pickups CANNOT be returned for credit or exchange.
Returns Authorization: All returns must have a Return Authorization (RA) number. An authorized return must be shipped freight prepaid to us with the RA number clearly marked on all cartons and correspondence. Please call the Custom Shop at 805-964-9610 ext 1009for an RA number.
