application
9-volt active humbucker for aggressive playing styles. Recommended for all metal and heavy rock styles, including extreme low tunings.

description
Mick wanted a tighter bass response and a top end that cuts through better and clearer. When you're playing with that much gain and power every incremental tweak becomes amplified by thousands.

Like Blackouts Originals, the EMTY pickups feature a high gain differential preamp with balanced inputs. What that means is you get all the aggressive firepower of a high output active 'bucker with up to 12dB less noise than other active pickups. The main sonic differences between the EMTY pickups and the Blackouts Original are the extreme highs and lows.

complete setup
AHB-3 Blackouts are available as Mick's two-humbucker set, or in individual neck and bridge models to mix and match with other Blackouts and Livewires Classic II active pickups. All versions come with all necessary mounting hardware, including pots, jack, and a battery clip.

guitars
For all humbucker guitars. The blade magnets make this pickup suitable for both humbucker and Trembucker spacings.

available mods
