SFX-05 Lava Box: "I love having the various distortions. All of which are tasty." |

SFX-06 Paranormal Bass Direct Box: "I really liked how much I was able to shape my tone through this box and send it to the house. I always fear that what I'm hearing on stage is not what's being sent to the house because I do use the amp as a tone shaper."

SFX-08 Power Grid: "It takes a bit of time to really get used to the exact parameters of control that the knobs allow however, once I was used to it, it was fairly easy to dial in a variaty of sounds. I was able to get everything from classic rock to over the top metalhead distortion. The edge of the sound becomes a bit messy towards the top end of the gain curve, but generally when I play serious metal, a muddy edge is not really a problem. All in all a very solid product, time would tell on durability but i have never had a problem with Seymour's quality standards. Highly recommended for a good solid-state distortion box." |

SFX-05 Lava Box: "I thought the SFX-05 Lava Box was amazing. The only reason I didn't select very satisfied was because the pedal really didn't fit the kind of music I'm used to. Anyways, as soon I got home I immediately called my friend Paul that this was an awesome pedal, and he had to buy it. I suggest this pedal through a Gibson Les Paul cranked into a Marshall amplifier. I highly recomend this pedal to anyone that plays rock." |

SFX-01 Pickup Buster: " It's a good pedal for what it does. very clean overall, despite it's high level of boost. it's got exceptional clarity, and doesn't distort in any odd way that some lower level booster pedals do. honestly i use a boss equalizer for a boost most of the time, but it distorts too much anywhere past +5db. this pedal doesn't do that, though i did notice just a hair of OD in the very high settings. definitely not a bad thing, though i suspect that it was more because the amp i was trying it though, a fender blues deluxe jr, which doesn't have too much clean headroom."
