Joe Bonamassa is one of the most important guitar players of his generation. Tutored in the Blues by greats like Danny Gatton, Bonamassa found himself opening for B.B. King at age nine and played countless gigs before reaching his teens. To this day, Joe remains a prodigy, boasting a rare combination of drop-dead licks and speedy technique while playing with impeccable taste and melodic sensibility. He has also proven himself to be a fine songwriter, releasing a string of highly-regarded guitar-centric albums, often featuring contributions from the very players who inspired him, including B.B. King and Eric Clapton. Joe’s love for the guitar has driven him in a quest to find the best instruments in the world with which to hone his craft. This desire has given birth to a considerable guitar and amplifier collection which seems to grow every day! In his search for the best and most diverse guitar tone, Joe Bonamassa has acquired a world-class guitar collection and currently owns over 300 vintage and rare guitars and amps. Never one to slow down, Joe recently released a follow up to the critically acclaimed Dust Bowl CD. This latest release, Don’t Explain, finds Joe joining forces with vocalist Beth Hart for a fiery collection of blues and soul covers. His much anticipated DVD follow up to Live at the Royal Albert Hall is now being edited and will feature live performances from two amazing nights at the Beacon Theater in New York City and will be released in mid-2012. These sizzling live performances feature a totally new set list of material and guest performances by John Hiatt, Beth Hart and Paul Rodgers.
