Digging into Dynamic Expression™ with the Catalina Chorus Pedal
This demo showcases the functional capabilities and tonal clarity of the Catalina Chorus pedal – focusing particularly on the unique Dynamic Expression feature.
Dynamic Expression™ is a foot-switchable function on the Catalina Chorus that allows the pedal to react to your playing style in real time. The unique Dynamic switch allows you to interact with the Depth control as you play: the Hard mode signals the chorus depth to increase as you play with more intensity, or flip it to Soft mode and you will receive more effect as you play lighter. There’s also a Threshold control to dial in the sensitivity of the Dynamic feature. The Threshold Knob also features a visual LED light that gets brighter as the Chorus effect becomes more prevalent, and dims as the effect diminishes. A green light indicates that Dynamic Expression is in Hard Mode, and a blue light indicates Soft Mode. (This proprietary Dynamic Expression feature is also found on our Andromeda Dynamic Delay and Silver Lake Reverb pedals).
