    Default $aving$ $aving$ $aving$

I recently went shopping for a Sprague 20uf 500vdc power cap for my amp. My usual place that I buy from is The Tube Store. Their charge - $10.85 for the cap, plus $2.50 (because my order was under $20.00.) and $7.95 for shipping = $21.30.

I then went to eBay and bought the same exact cap from Angela Instruments. Cost - $8.99 and that included the shipping!

    It pays to shop around.

That was my initial thought, along with charging $2.50 because my order was under $20.00 for the part.

Mojo Tone does not have a Sprague Atom 20uf 500 vdc cap. I checked them out.

I was about to suggest going to the Mouser catalog and buying a lot of 100 for an even bigger price break, but I guess things don't work that way in this case.

I've shopped at Angela a lot in the past and always got good deals. Blues Jr. for $230, overstocked trannies on the cheap, etc.

They used to have more overstock / closeouts in the past.
