The black Hamer explorer with white binding, that belongs to Lita Ford.

I've recently learned that guitar was named, Pepper. And she still has it.

Forget the sex, drugs and rock and roll, this guitar is the epitome of attitude. I don't really know if it's the woman behind the guitar in this case, but I know it helped define what rock is. Let's erase genre, let's forget time periods, who was more of a rockstar than this girl right here with her black hamer (I mean come on, look at her shirt :-)). I know this guitar does not look like much but that guitar (and Lita) are icons in their own right. I rest my case...

Slash's first REAL Les Paul he got in 1988. The one with the cigarette burn behind the bridge. I drool over this thing. I like this one over the "Appetite" LP copy.

    I'll join this discussion...
My famous guitar would absolutely be a George Harrison SG Standard w/Maestro. I've really gotten into SGs lately...

For me, as a Slash fan (one of a few ;oD), it's clear that I would choose his legendary main live guitar in his Guns N' Roses era!

But there is another hero! Of course Jimmy Page! He's an amazing guitar player and I think that it's such an honor to play, just one time in everyone's life, Stairway To Heaven on his Double Neck!

For me, both guitars wrote Rock History!!!

If I could play any guitar. I would pick Tony Iommi's SG. A guitar that revolutionized heavy metal.
