I can only think of shaving bass for a tighter low end and boosting mids for leads...
You can basically EQ each amp channel and gain pedal individually. Gilmour did it with individual GE-6/GE-7 pedals, lately he replaced them with a source audio EQ.

I’m not sure if the GT-1000 has the 500 series effects or not?
    Oh no.....

    Oh Yeah!

"Massive selection of onboard effects, including BOSS MDP effects and algorithms directly ported from the DD-500, MD-500, and RV-500 pedals"

Cool. So it came out after/in parallel with the 500 series?
    Oh no.....

Yes, quite a bit after IIRC, it only came out in 2018, haven't the 500 series pedals been out for a little while?

I got a chance to play the DD-200 today.

    I liked it a LOT.

Essentially the same sound quality as the DD500. Excellent build quality - it feels like a solidly built pedal and the knobs are great touch-points. It's not as big as I thought it would be. VERY simple operation, very easy to sculpt very high-quality delay sounds with minimal effort and no menus to scroll through.

I think I may get the MD200 when it's out. I might also get the DD200 just to have it around.

There are many pickups where the main difference is simply EQ and output. (Over-simplifying a bit.) Two pups might be close, but one is scooped. Or one might be "muddy" in the neck. For me, having EQ, and gain, presets, would allow you to take one "hi-fi" pup, like a PATB-1, and use presets to emulate other pups. Scoop one, demud another, and boost or cut yet another. Or any combo in between. It's like changing pups with a switch.

Nope! My local music shop had the DD200 and EQ200 in stock. The other ones come out later this year.

I use one in my loop to cut volume but maintain saturation and another to cut low end and change the character of my OR. It will be nice to just change patches to achieve that.

Picked my EQ200 up today when I stopped to get my guitar that was in the shop for a nut replacement. I played with the DD200 but i dont use enough delay right now to make it worth while.

I loved the DD-20 Giga Delay when it came out. I shouldn't have sold mine. But prices just went down now that the DD-200 is out.

I just picked one up off Reverb for about $120 as a b-day gift for a friend. It's such a good deal now. I kinda want one again even though I don't need it.
