    Smile SSL5 Calibrated Set

I installed this set of pickups several weeks ago. And I've gotta tell you that I am really enjoying these pickups. I like the fact that they're not bright at all. They're warm and full sounding and they still retain the quack. They also handle overdrive very well. I'm quite surprised that there's not much out there by the way of demos on this set. Maybe the fine folks at Seymour Duncan could put something together to showcase this set on their site or on YouTube. Just a thought. Well, I can say with absolute certainty that I would recommend this set to anyone.

You're right, there aren't a lot of demos. Make one!

This is a great set that you don't read much about.

I would bet that if someone did make a demo they would sell a lot more of these sets. Especially the players, like me, that arenít fans of vintage styled single coils and who are not wanting single coil humbuckers. Ha! Iíve thought about making a demo. But I donít have the technical know how.
