Have you ever let a guitar go and regretted it later?

This sure has happened to me before! To this day I think of guitars that got away from me over 20 years ago that wish I still had. I’ve seen great guitars in stores or yard sales and procrastinated about buying it and when I returned it was gone. I’ve owned guitars that I decided to sell and then remembered how great it sounded and regretted letting it go. I’ve also had guitars that didn’t sound great that I was happy to get rid of. I’m always looking for instruments that have great acoustics and that you can tell that they’ll sound great without even plugging them in.

I can always do something to the pickups to make them sound the way I need them. If you decide to trade or sell your instrument, make sure you found something better or you’ll be having dreams about the one that got away. During the early ’60’s I let so many great guitars get away… and I wonder what ever happened to all my old baseball cards too.
