Biography

Started playing guitar at 14 years old, heavily influenced by my West Midlands UK metal roots (Black Sabbath, Judas Priest ) and then lured into the progressive side of life (Rush, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Yes etc) and suddenly discovering Jazz aged 23 years old and completely immersing myself in theory for a long long time. After several local bands with limited exposure, I'd sort of faced the fact I probably wasn't going to realise my dreams, then out of the blue Brian Tatler (who I'd met a few times over the years) invited me to play 4 gigs in 2006 to see if I liked the band and if they liked me. To say I did was an understatement, I've done things that I never thought I'd get to do, met so many wonderful people, played massive festivals and lost so many hours of sleep lol! Favourite guitarists are Alex Lifeson, Guthrie Guvan, Eric Johnson, Tony Iommi, Brent Mason. My motto is....never give up, never grow up, protect your hearing and eat your greens!
