Dennis Sanders

Dennis Sanders is the singer, songwriter and founder of the band SPIRIT IN THE ROOM.

After touring as a live bass player for Wes Borland’s Black Light Burns, Dennis set out on his own to start Spirit in the Room in 2009. Since its inception, Spirit in the Room have played and toured with Deftones, Pantera, Crosses and more. The sound is varied from manic and aggressive, to melodic and moody rock music. In 2020 Spirit in the Room joined Phil Anselmo's label, Housecore Records. Sanders writes and records all of the material and has a live band for shows.

Receiving critical acclaim, Kerrang! applauded, “SPIRIT IN THE ROOM are a special kind of band,” and went as far as to christen Sanders, “a dark poet for dark time.” Cvlt Nation confessed, “I’ve been hooked on the dark passion of their at times contradictory, always hard to define sound.
