You can flip the magnet over 180 degrees to change the magnetic polarity of the pickup and you can adapt magnets of different materials such as Ceramics, Alnico 5, Alnico 4 and different dimensions to your needs. If you use different magnets, make sure you secure or have the pickup potted to eliminate unwanted feed back from loose or vibrating parts. Any time you modify your pickups will most likely avoid all warranties given by a manufacture.
