Loving the Red Devil for Strat set! Lots of power in these pickups, my first single-coil-sized humbuckers. It was pretty simple to get up & running with the included wiring diagram. I didn’t split the coils or anything, but I was pleasantly surprised that positions 2 & 4 are still quacky. Very happy with this purchase (as well as my first SD pickups, a set of Phat Kats i installed into a 335- build kit; I love em). I’m now eyeing my next SD pickups set lol.

...this one wins! It has the PERFECT voicing and amount of highs/lows for a Strat or Strat-style guitar. I have more Strats than pairs of socks, so in other Strats, I also have the '78, lil '59 and JB...the JB, let's face it, it's a classic. Perhaps a bit of a push in the upper-mids/highs. The '78, with its Alnico-2 magnet, to ME...seemed a bit squishy in the lower end. The lil '59 is a close runner-up, if looking for those awesome PAF sounds in a Strat...but this new one (to me), the Red Devil...TAKES THE MEDAL. I put it in a PRS Silver Sky (I really have no use for a Strat single coil bridge pickup with the music I or my band plays) and it INSTANTLY turned that guitar into something that will go toe to toe against any HSS Strat I own. I'll be gigging it live to see how she does...I also threw one in a Fender Ancho Poblano Custom Shop Strat and it has quickly become my new favorite! I just ordered another CS Strat and this pickup was the 1st thing I ordered to get it battle-ready. The Red Devil is such a BEAUTIFULLY sweet, yet rude sounding pickup with a low-end that doesn't flub out!! ...which I HATE IN A STRAT!!!!!! This nails it in spades...Thank you, Seymour Duncan, Thank you Maricele and THANK YOU BILLY GIBBONS....for working with MJ to conjure up this spicy blend of perfection!

Great sounding bridge pickup. Much more usable for me than the hot rail it replaced. Not only do I like the distorted tone better. The clean tone is great as well. It also splits well with the two ssl-6 middle and neck pickups that are in the guitar. This pickup could not be a better fit.

This pickup is exactly what I always wanted in a Strat bridge. My Strat is now capable of going from Hendrix to metal and actually doing both excellent. This is not lacking anything from a full sized humbucker. I specifically bought this pickup because of the alnico magnet rather than the ceramic of all the other single coil sized buckers. So glad I did. It has all the warmth and character of the vintage PAF and still sounds good clean u like sterile active or ceramic pickups. I have a 95 American standard and the parchment matches my stock pickups perfectly. My biggest concern was the volume difference from my singles in the neck and middle but it’s barely noticeable with a 500k pot. This is the best option for all you Strat lovers who wish your Strat could really do it all without lacking balls in the bridge- and I know there are a lot of you out there. This is the one. Do it now. Make your Strat complete.

My Strat sounds incredible with the Red Devil pickup set! Still sounds like a Strat but with a lot more punch! My second set of Seymour Duncan pickups and I'm really happy with both of them(pearly Gates for my LP). My only problem with them being the wires are just so tiny. very difficult to work with but well worth the effort.

Very satisfied…makes what I consider to be an unusable pickup (strat bridge) and makes it a great option. Considered a hot rails but glad I got this one as it’s got plenty of power.

I purchased these pickups to replace and modify a Squire Strat. I had them loaded in with a split on the middle and neck pick up. These pickups growl and speak with authority! I will be upgrading another with these soon! Can't beat the sound for the money!

Just what I was looking for in a single coil humbucker

I put 3 of the Billy Gibbons Red Devils (B, M, N) into my Fender American-made 1982 Bullet and they greatly exceeded my expectations. I feel like this 38 year old Fender is brand new, and the humbuckers are dead quiet. I am also able to get some awesome low-end "growl" from the E and A strings that I never was able to achieve with the old stock pickups. Using the 5-way blade, the combination of tones between the pickups is outstanding - all good. Well worth the investment. I am hooked on Seymour Duncans and hoping to find my next "rescue" guitar to bring back to life!

These pickups have turned my Strat into an animal! Love the rich tone and the endless sustain! Will play the smoothest jazz tones and then smoke the house down with high gain! Love them. Just wish the tone rolled off a little more gradually as opposed to dropping at 3.
