These pups are as advertised. Great clean tones and they rip just by cranking the volume. Very much a P.A.F. feel but with more snarl.

Swapped out a set of pro buckers in favor of these Slash Duncan's. Should have done it along time ago

Got the slash Alnico 2 zebra pickups in august and I’ve been very happy with them! Tight when they need to be and cut through the sound amazingly!

Bought for my Ibanez RP370. The Ibanez pickups were just muffled and weak. My store tech suggested these. I knew Slash used AlnicoII’s which have that 80’s midrange bite I’m looking for on this guitar. The neck pickup is such an improvement. I can actually use it blended with the other two. The bridge is hot and a bit on the nasty side. Rolling off the volume a little made a huge difference. The DiMarrzio screaming demon is the new single coil in the mid position. It’s nice too. I use the Marshall JCM2000 half stack to push these. Only used a MXR Zakk Wylde OD so far but it’ll thump as it is. My first set of Slash models and impressed. Great $200 purchase buying these pickups. Well pleased!

Absolutely amazing pickups! A lot of crunch without getting muddy. A night and day improvement over factory.

I wanted a classic sound with a little more 'tude, and the Slash Bridge pickup did exactly that for me. The sound is exactly what it's professed to be; you really can't go wrong with this pickup, it's versatile for Classic Rock to Heavy Metal.

F@#&ing awesome. Absolutely great sound. Super easy to install. I couldn’t be more happy. These were installed in the Gibson Slash Signature gold top, since Gibson stopped installing them in his signature models. I highly recommend these.

These rip in the zach myers. I swapped the electronics to core level and installed these pickups. The bite is nice. I thought the original pickups of the guitar were muddy. These clean up nice, but can get more in your face at volume 9-10 in a way I wanted. Vintage hot but can handle most modern tones. Excellent neck pickup. Good value! These cannot split so I wouldn’t advise for those that wish for that. You’ll probably need to mix these with a multi lead pickup if you don’t order the set in order to avoid phase issues. The only down side of a single braided wire.

I wouldn't choose these at a passing glance, but the pickup finder tool recommended the Slash set for me. I must say, I will always love this tone! Being a metal head, I did not think I would enjoy vintage style pickups, but boy, these are fantastic! It was exactly the tone I was after on my Dean Vendetta.

Put these pickups on a BC Rich guitar with new CTS 500 pots. Can't believe what a difference it made in the sound of the guitar. Truly amazing. My other guitars are collecting dust.

Great pups! Raw nickel covers went great with my 96’ Les Paul. Had a question right before I ordered and the response was super fast. SD doesn’t make a bad pup.

The tone I was looking for

The site was easy to navigate and order from. The pickups I ordered arrived quick and they were packaged great. I haven’t tested the APH-2’s I ordered yet since I’m still building the guitar, but I know they’ll sound great. I only wish Seymore Duncan sold Black Nickel or Black Chrome pickup covers separately like the ones on these killer pickups.

I'm liking the Slash pups in my 2010 SG Standard. The stock Gibsons (Angus Young and 57 Classic) are great for that AC/DC rawk. I needed to also go clean sometimes. The A2's in the SG give the notes a sweet bloom in the upper mids. It can happen clean and with gain. Nice.

I bought these pick ups as a surprise for my wife’s new Gibson Les Paul 60’s Standard and she Absolutely loves them!! The look and the sound are out of this world!! Thank you Seymour Duncan for making the best pick ups in the world!!!

I’d recently purchased the Slash bridge pickup.

These are very nice pickups. They have a good medium output, just enough to push my amp into natural overdrive, but not so much that they overpower my system. When used with an overdrive pedal they have extremely clean tone with almost no noise. I have these configured in HSH with a Quarter Pounder single coil and the high output of that matches the medium output of the Slash pickups so they blend perfectly. The only thing I might like to see is a 4 connector, braided sleeve, split-able variant of these.

I replaced the 57’s in my LP Classic, and as far as the bridge goes I actually like the 57 better. The Slash bridge is a bit too cold and just didn’t have the fullness that the 57 has. As far as the neck goes, it’s the nicest sounding neck pup I’ve ever played. Excellent neck pup 👍

Very nice replacement for the BB1/BB2 set in a gibson les paul 60's tribute model. Vintage output with a noticeable, pleasant increase in treble and presence through a Marshall DSL on green 2/red 1(like someone took a blanket off the speaker); improved crunch sound (less flubby) through a Soldano SLO 30. Leads sing with nice single note clarity. Overall, a very worthwhile upgrade!

Is it possible to wire these awesome bad boys with the push-pull pots I've got, to split the humbuckers?

I put a set of the aph-2s in my Epiphone Les Paul plus top pro.and was initially underwhelmed. I had a sh-1n and a sh-16 in the bridge and was always very happy with these. I inherited a beat up sg with microphonic gibson pickups and decided I would try the slash pickups I always wanted to try. So the sh-1n and sh-16 went to the sg revival project and I got these going. Although I was initially underwhelmed there were 2 reasons. I must have only ever played on pickups with alnico 5's. These took a couple of days of trial and error with pole and pickup heights to dial in to taste compared to my other SD pickups. Once dialed in I can't recall ever playing a more articulate and warm yet with bite and mids that are perfectly tasteful for all types of music from barely overdriven blues to crunchy punk-metal. The touch dynamics remind me of my ssl-2 single coils almost. Fantastic pickup

I took The factory pickups from a Epiphone Korina Flying V and replaced them with the Slash Alnico pickups. Wanna talk about changing tone, these pickups are fantastic. I have a Vox AC30 and the tone I am able to dial in with these pickups is off the chain rockin'. If you are looking for a quality pickup replacement look no further.

I replaced my Factory Gibson 490 pickup with the Slash model and I'm loving it! The volume level is about the same but the tone is richer. It has a nice bite without being shrill. Very airy to my ears. Every guitar is different, but in my slab body Les Paul this pickup takes on a very "Lynyrd Skynyrd - Second Helping" lead tone. I wish that it came in a 4 wire setup where I could try splitting the coils, but I understand that these are made to meet Slash's requirements. This pickup sounds great. I definitely recommend you give it a shot.
