After ten years with these in my Epi Dot, I'm still get a big smile each time I play it.

Very crisp, clear and responsive. The package came quickly and Safeway. The measured impedance and suggested Humbucker wiring configuration was a nice touch.

Well I've been searching for the the right pick up for such a long time. I've had my Les Paul R9 since 2018 and it's now 2024. I've swapped out pick ups t the point of giving up. Until I heard these Antiquitys. I was so impressed....they are prefect for what I was looking for. Everyone here knows what they sound like so there isn't any need to go into it. Just wanted to say how impressed with these things. The irony is I replaced my sh59s for these.So I've been with Duncans for awhile. Not to say the 59s are bad....I just like these better. Just enough warmth. Good job folks

I have a set of these in my Gibson Les Paul Standard, and they are very sweet sounding pickups. The high-end is very bell like and chimey, especially on the neck, but it's never shrill or too much in the treble dept. The fact that they are unpotted makes them feel so responsive, and the top end feels very 'alive'. However, that does make them a tad on the noisy side when you start to dial in a bit more gain. Cleans are beautiful, organic and open sounding. Having said that, when you get the pickup height dialed in right, these pickups are great for more aggressive styles too. I personally believe that lower output pickups can be exceptional for rock and metal playing when you let the amp do the heavy lifting, and these don't disappoint! I do wish they had a hair more bottom-end chunk, but that's totally a personal preference, and I'm more than happy with them.

Excellent pickups. Installed in my Gibson Les Paul Standard 60's guitar.

I have installed the Phat Cat in the neck and the Antiquity in the Bridge position and on home builds I have done. The latest was a Les Paul type that i used the Antiquity wiring schematic (50’s style) and the sound is amazing. Very impressed ! Added some picks of some of my builds with the Antiquity and PhatCat. The honey burst Les Paul has the 50’ wiring while the others are wired with “modern” wiring. They all sound great!

As one might expect, the Antiquity set sounds great in my Les Paul. They're very articulate and sensitive to pick attack, and they produce great tone all around, clean to dirty.

I have a couple Epiphone guitars where I have upgraded the pickups and the wiring. Hoping to tighten up the low end and bring better articulation to the guitar. Mission accomplished! These Antiquity pickups are quite amazing!

I bought a LP Classic several years ago. In it is the Antiquity set and the owner included the stock p/u’s (aside). As much as I love the 496R & 500T, the Antiquity p/u’s will never leave this LP! Everyone LOVES the neck p/u…sounds very much like the PAF’s of old. I play classic rock and blues and these are maybe the best sounding p/u’s I’ve ever heard. Try them! You won’t be disappointed!

I did a youtube research of side by side comparisons of the antiquity pickups with others and Seymour Duncans always performed the best and faithfully reproduce vintage tone. Seymour Duncan has as long as I can remember had a good reputation among guitarists so is why I sought the product. Thank you

I bought a ‘13 Classic. Came with the 2 original 496R & 500T in a box and a set of Antiquity on the guitar…..WOW. Love these….sounds like the PAF’s of old!

Guitar sounds great

I picked up a 2003 LP Classic, slightly aged. I was kind of disappointed in the bridge pickup - not original - it sounded like it was wrapped in flannel. The bridge was OK - it was a Lindy Fralin HB. After trying a half dozen different capacitors and weird settings I saw on Youtube I decided to try a set of these Antiquities. I've had 250 or 300 guitars in my 60+ years of playing and I've never had a more beautiful sounding instrument. These pickups have turned this guitar into a 'keeper'!!

The perfect replacement to clean up the "hacked" installation that I found inside my '72 LP Custom. Sound like they were made for a vintage LP. The gold Antiquity finish matches the original, aged hardware!

For a long time I’ve been interested in these pickups but I just didn’t have the right guitar to put them in. I’ve been looking around for a good host candidate and finally came across a suitable guitar. I put a pair of the Antiquities in it a couple of weeks ago and I’m really amazed at just how good they sound. I have a couple vintage guitars with the original pickups including a 60’s SG with great original pickups and I wanted pickups that good sounding for any newer guitar I may purchase, so my standards are already high and I couldn’t be more pleased with these Antiquities. Much more clarity than stock BB#1, and BB#2 on 50s Les Paul. Little hotter, and much more aggressive sound. Like the fact that pickups are unpotted. Great P.A.F tone.

I put a set of these in a Gibson 57 Reissue Gold Top (R7). Although I play higher gain, hard rock/metal and neo-classical styles I'm not a fan of HOT or high output pickups and favor low to mids vintages. This was a perfect set for that LP. Very well balance and make a Les Paul sound how a Les Paul should sound. Very expressive, articulate, mean on the bridge when they need to be as smoothy silk in the neck position. I want a Gold cover versions for my 3PU 57 LPC

Replaced the original factory pick ups on my Epiphone Sheraton. The guitar has been transformed from an OK, but unexceptional player to a sonic power house.

I pot these in my 2016 Gibson LP Standard while also replacing the controls from PCB to standard pots. These pickups are amazingly responsive and accurately reproduce all of the sounds they are capable of. Worth every cent and highly recommended.

Warm and clear... authentic as seasoned wood. Seymore Duncan Antiquity Humbuckers and Antiquity P90s are the best I've ever found in their responsiveness to input subtleties - I use them exclusively on all my builds.

I own several different sets of Seymore Duncan Pickups. I am a true fan of their products, because I only use the best. I have one of my guitars set up with the Antiquity pickups in it, and it's a joy to play. It just sings with harmonic overtones. I'm seriously considering getting another set of Antiquity pickups, just in case I get another guitar and need to update it's pickups. They are SWEET! I also really like the Pearly Gates. Keep up the marvelous work Guys!!!!!
