Description

Our overwound Hot Lead Stack for Telecaster with its blade magnet delivers a vintage-hot output with a nice even string balance and no drop outs when bending strings. The alnico 5 blade magnet gives a tone has all the spank and twang of a traditional lead pickup, but is just a little smoother and warmer overall. And since its one of our patented Stack pickups, its totally quiet. Perfect for players who want to add just a little more output and warmth without losing the classic Tele lead tone. Pair with our Vintage Rhythm Stack for a versatile setup.

Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Hot Stack uses an alnico 5 bar magnet, 4-conductor lead wire, and is wax potted for squeal free operation.

Underated GOAT

I bought this pickups few years ago for a tele I was putting together. I'd watched the demo videos and read the descriptions and everything and was more or less like "oh yeah, this'll be okay". I didn't want an oversaturated and ugly Hot Rails and I thought the blade style just had something more unique about it for a tele. So input it in, coil-splittable too which is great if you really want to dial in that annoying classic tele sound. Man, this pickup is so punchy, percussive, articulate and noiseless for it's size, it's a marvel of modern science. I constantly find myself coming back to lay down tracks on this rather than $2000 PRSs and Ltds and guitars with EMGs and Dimarzios. The versatility is just unreal. Sparkling cleans and the filthiest gains in a single. Who would've thought? Anyway I've got a split table invader in the neck I've paired it with which is a weird combo but man, they crank hog. Cannot recommend enough.

Wonderful pick up

I had one of these installed in the bridge pick up back in the mid 80’s. My workhorse Tele turned into a beast, so much so I never used the neck pick up again until late when I had a Hot Stack neck pick up installed, double the workhorse.. and coil tapped there isnt much my Tele can’t do now… Wish I could give it six stars..!

Sick of Boomer Pickups?

I bought this to replace pups in my Squire hotrod. This pickup f*cling grinds! It has got so much dirt and character. It sounds like a single without sounding thin or brittle, it's got so much bite it's crazy with a bit of gain. Add a coil split and it's still got that tele twang when you need it. Pair it with a split SH8 Invader for something outta this world

Zazz

There are two kinds of pickups, those with and those without zazz. This pickup is a one-way ticket to Zazzville, population : you. I am running this pickup solo in my Esquire parts build and it gives me thick lows with punchy mids/highs .
