Replaced the stock P90’s in my Sire LV7. I actually liked the stock pickups but these are just so much better. Very well balanced tone, not too bright, cleans up nicely and has great sustain. I originally only replaced the bridge pickup because I thought I liked the neck pickup. Definitely get the matched set for overall tone but also because there was an issue with the volume pot not working properly where the volume would drop slightly from 8-10. Problem went away after replacing the pickup. If you are putting these in an oversees guitar I would measure the depth of your pickup cavity’s. These pickups are a little taller than the stock pickups in the Sire. Don’t quote me but I believe the SD are 24mm and the stock pups were 19mm. The neck was not a problem but I had to make the bridge cavity a little deeper to be able to have the proper pickup height. It was worth the extra work!
