Sometime in ’78, Eddie Van Halen gave Seymour Duncan a P.A.F. to experiment with, along with instructions to rewind it with the intent to enhance the reproduction of artificial harmonics and “hot wind” a little for some extra “juice”.

The Little ’78 Strat is the single-coil version of that experiment. The magnet and output combination lends itself to a warm crunch with biting leads and overtone laden tapped runs. While this was not the final destination for Eddie, it offers players the opportunity to revisit a waypoint in the early days of his legendary pursuit of the ultimate tone.

Slash’s signature humbucker set has been loved by fans and the 6-string king himself for over a decade. The Slash 2.0 Set is based off his signature APH-2 pickups, now with a hotter wind that provides the familiar sound Slash loves while pushing his amps with the perfect balance of volume, drive, and compression.

The Slash 2.0 humbuckers are hand built in Santa Barbara the same way we built his originals in the 80s, with a nickel silver bottom plate with long mounting legs, single conductor braided lead wire, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting.

We worked hard to give the Vapor Trail Deluxe an inspiring analog tone. But we were just getting started. We’ve also outfitted the pedal with tap tempo with subdivisions, expression pedal control, and delay tails on/off options for letting your repeats carry over. And once you’ve dialed in your perfect repeats, you can store them for on the fly recall in one of three preset locations.
