It was a big surprise when i first played this pickup !!! Nice, big, fat, musical, clear, sweet, smooth and with great punch !!!!! Thanks Seymour for one more great pup !!!

I use A LOT OF Seymour Duncan PU‘s in various guitars and for a myriad of styles. My faves are the Antiquities Tele in my 68 Esquire, The 35 Anniversary Set in my TeleGib,two SH1 in my 61 SG,the 3 Hot Stacks in My 57 Strat and the classic combo of SH 4 and SH1N on my Seven String Guitars. This I installed into the neck Position of my semiacoustic Echopark J which has An ARcane JM PU in the bridge and had an Arcane Goldcoil in the neck, which started sounding wooly, and dull. Since I use this guitar primarily for Jazz on the neck PU I tried out the Benedetto PAF which I had in my studio cupboard....It was a good decision...instantly I get really nice Ted Greene type tones and with the split I can even get a Charlie Christian type sound.An amazing PU.I recommend it highly.

I loooove this Pickup.Have it in the Neck Position of my Echopark J Semiacoustic Guitar. Body wood is Swamp Ash, Neck is Quartersawn Maple with an Ebony fretboard,Frets are 6100 Jascar Stainless Steel and the Guitar has a floating Mastery bridge. With the Benedetto in the Neck I now have immense versatility with this guitar which can cover all my playing styles.I will name the three positions as: Bridge(Arcane Jazzmaster PU) Jimmy Page, the Bridge and Neck combo (Jazzmaster PU and the Benedetto as Humbucker) Chet Atkins, the neck PU unsplit(Kenny Burrell) and Split(Cornell Dupree) if you get the gist of my statement. I use D’Addario 011-049 XT on this guitar. The Benedetto makes me leave my Jazz Boxes at home. In the Studio this guitar is the epitome of Versatility which is extremely facilitated by the Benedetto. I use SD in virtually all my working guitars(apart from the SSky) and so far I have my SH 1 s, JB,SH2,SH18,Pearly Gates, Hot Stacks,Antiquity Teles and Mustang PU’s in use.
