N4N_kids028Can you imagine being a kid again and having a place you could go to get free lessons, to play any instrument for free and record your own music with the help of professionals? When we first heard about the charity Notes for Notes, we got pretty excited. They provide some seriously awesome opportunities for kids. A place where kids can come after school and find their voice, be creative and learn an instrument. Since that initial introduction we’ve gone on to host 3 concerts and help raise over $200,000. In that time they’ve expanded to LA and Nashville with plans in the open up in San Francisco, Detroit, Brooklyn, Austin and Atlanta.

Joe Bonamassa Hammersmith2010 52The first year we had Steve Miller, the second we had Joe Bonamassa and Los Lobos, last year we had Slash & Jimmy Vivino as well as several great guests. This year Joe Bonamassa will be back with Jimmy Vivino for an amazing show as well as many special guests. All proceeds will go to benefit Notes For Notes, as well the funds raised from the highly GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) inducing auction featuring instruments from companies like Washburn, Schecter, Dunlop, Godin, Fender, Gibson, LAG and many others! Even signed memorabilia from some amazing bands like Iron Maiden and Slash.

The event will be held on October 24, 2014 at the historic Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara. Come on by to see an amazing show and at the same time support the future of music.

You can purchase tickets here.
