The Alnico II Pro Tele Lead uses a vintage coil wind, and sand-cast Alnico 2 rod magnets for a vintage Telecaster pickup sound and vibe, but with a smoky sweetness on the high end. You’ll still feel the Tele snap and twang, but with a nice, round warmth added in. Your pick attack will feel slightly mellower, and chords will have a spongy, bouncy quality.

This pickup pairs perfectly with our Alnico II Pro Tele neck, which sports a deep drawn chrome-plated brass cover for a sweet, hollow tone that sounds great both clean and dirty. The Alnico 2 Pro for Strat set uses flat (non-staggered) hand ground alnico 2 rod magnets and heavy Formvar mag wire with a special wind pattern to produce that classic bouncy tone you’d expect from the best 50s Stratocaster pickups. The flat pole pattern is designed to improve string balance and response on guitars that use lighter strings or have flatter fretboards. The treble attack is soft and sweet, the mids feel just slightly scooped, while the low end has a vintage sponginess. Chords have a nice, smooth feel, and single notes have a singing, musical character.

Includes a reverse wound, reverse polarity middle pickup for noiseless operation in positions 2 & 4. Aside from the flat pole pieces, we use the same materials to build these as we do for all our vintage Fender style single coil pickups. We start by assembling the bobbins with the proper color and thickness of hand filed Forbon flatwork and alnico 2 magnets. We then lacquer our bobbins just as it was done during Fenders Golden Age.

The Vintage Hot Stack Plus is a noiseless strat pickup designed for the player who wants a little beefier tone but does not want a high output pickup. The tone is bright and bouncy, but with just a little more of everything. Chords will feel more powerful, and single notes will ring through with just a bit more authority than they would with a vintage output single coil. This pickup is designed to look like a traditional Strat single coil, and works great in neck, middle, or bridge position, and its dead quiet.

The Classic Stack Plus neck pickup looks and sounds like a true Stratocaster single coil but none of the traditional single coil hum.
